People dream of owning their own business. Avi woke up a little late

Avi has been an Australian Public Health Management professional for more than a decade. He kept away from his family business interests in India until January 2019, when his father gently reminded him that he has responsibilities.

Hence, Avi made the decision to take a sabbatical from his professional career and introduce the family business to the vibrant Australian fashion market space.

11,000 kilometres away from his home in Australia, Avi has 3 workshops on the family farms where skilled artisans combine Australian Merino wool with Indian craftsmanship to create beautiful designs on scarves and shoes. A design enthusiast, Avi created his first set of designs inspired by the wide variety of colours available in the Australian Outback. Avi's artisans have given life to his first set of designs. Finishing of the Scarves and Shoes is done In Australia at the store in Dubbo. 

House of Avi was started in July 2019. A store where everyday Australians could come and shop for their wool and silk garments with the confidence of quality products.

With the added advantage of having a small shoe workshop, a range of double padded hand made leather footwear has also been introduced into the Australian store.

House of Avi is backed by the romance of women’s fashion and a juggernaut of experienced craftsmen in India.
